Hiring employees is a tedious and expensive process. Considering the time and money that goes into the hiring process, it is crucial to get it right. So, what can employers do to retain their top talent? It starts with onboarding. Recent surveys show that an engaging onboarding process retains up to 91% of employees through their first year, and are 58% more likely to stay with that company for more than three years.
On November 17, Haynsworth Sinkler Boyd’s Demetrius Pyburn dived deeper into employee onboarding and how establishing this process helps with employee retention. In this presentation, Demetrius discussed the following:
- The importance of an employee onboarding process;
- Essential components of the onboarding process; and
- Best practices for developing an onboarding process.
